Season Summary
Welcome to traveling youth soccer for the Fairfield Iowa area!
Fall season practices will begin in the middle to the end of August. Each teams coaches will communicate specific practice days and times for their teams but they are typically two to three times a week and begin around 5:30 pm.
Our first games are scheduled for Saturday, Sept 7th and will continue each Saturday through our end-of-season tournament on Oct 26th & 27th.
IMPORTANT: Regular Registration Ends Wednesday Aug 28, 2024.
Late Registration ends Wednesday Sept 4, 2024 but includes an additional $15 late fee!
Ongoing Communication: Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email that includes instructions for how to sign into your child's team using the Heja app. Many kids move up a year this season so we you may need to join a new group. This app will be used for all communications about practices, games, weather delays, etc. for the U8-U14+ ages. High School will be using the Ollie app, instructions will be available in your registration confirmation email.
U8 Parents - You will have the option to be part of a non-traveling team or if your child prefers to be part of the traveling team and compete with other towns we will have four to five weekends for them to do so (one hosted in Fairfield). Sign-up and communicate your travel preference with the U8 coaching team.
U10, U12, U14+ Grade 8 Parents - You will be registering your child for a traveling soccer team and will compete on the dates listed above with other towns in the 641 League. Coaches will communicate details about game times etc. as each weekend game approaches.
U19 High School Players and Parents - FASA will be offering the 7v7 program again for High School this season offering games against area clubs that are focused on fast pace and increased touches on the ball.
New Families - U12 and above, you will need a picture of your player and a copy of an age verification document (i.e. birth certificate, passport, etc.) to register. Please register for the Recreational Program. To find the correct age group, please see the chart below.
Returning Families - For those who registered in the fall, we are continuing to use the Demosphere online registration system. Please use the same login information you set up last year. This will allow the system to locate your household and previously registered players which will simplify the process for you. You may be asked again for a birth certificate, as the system no longer retains this information from year to year as an increased security measure.
Note: If you are unable to register online, please email noah+fasa@siemsenconsulting.com or message the FASA community on Facebook for assistance.
Not sure what team your child is on?
It depends on their birth year and not their school grade until they are in high school. See chart below:
